July was a month full of sunshine, rain and laughter at Redlands House Norwich. The month kicked off with Malcolm delighting everyone by playing the piano, followed by a visit from Evie’s Owls and adorable little visitors, including twin granddaughters of a staff member. Residents enjoyed a Western-themed summer event, complete with music, tombola, and delicious food, despite the rain. We celebrated residents’ birthdays with homemade cakes and marked special moments like a 59th wedding anniversary.

Activities and fun at Redlands House Norwich this July

Our activities ranged from cooking sessions and garden games to reminiscing mornings that brought back cherished memories.

The team bid a heartfelt farewell to our dedicated carer, Kim, as she retired. Staff also enhanced their knowledge by participating in a Dementia Friends Information Session, reinforcing our commitment to providing compassionate care.

July was a testament to the vibrant and loving community we foster here at Redlands House, where every day is filled with care, connection, and happiness.
